Můj přítel Josef Jařab

The book is a collection of memories of Josef Jařab, a prominent Americanist, the first post-revolution rector of Palacký University, and a politician. Editor Ingeborg Fialová gathered memories, stories, and anecdotes from his friends and colleagues, arranged the collected texts chronologically and thematically, and supplemented them with personal comments. The book also includes photographs from Jařab's archive. Although it is not a representative monograph, the collection of memories fulfills its purpose – to honor the memory of Josef Jařab and provide comfort to his loved ones.
