In 2021 and 2022, the Slovak publishing house FACE published two publications of texts (Slovacica litteraria 1 and 2) dedicated to Slovak literature, respectively to the Slovak-Czech literary context, by a Czech literary historian, critic and translator working at the Department of Czech Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of Palacký University, prof. Lubomír Machala (* 1958), who mainly deals with Czech and Slovak literature from the second half of the 20th century to the present day. This follow-up volume, Bohemica litteraria 1. Studia 1982–2023 (authors, works), the first of two planned, is a similar inventory of the author's contributions to Czech literature created in the same period and contains critical analytical and interpretative reflections focused on authorial personalities or their individual works, mostly from the field of prose.
